Shogun 2: I actively dislike almost all the mods for Shogun 2. Like I'd probably pay money to buy that as a game.Įmpire/Napoleon: While the Star Wars stuff is deeply stupid Darth Mod does a huge amount to improve the incredibly flawed Empire Total War and while it improves Napoleon less because Napoleon is pretty playable out the box it does feel pretty good there. Medieval 2: Divide and Conquer, it's just a ridiculously impressive mod compared to basically everything else out there. Rome: While EB is probably better I have a much bigger real soft spot for Rome Total Realism basically exclusively from nostaligia.
Do Shogun 1 and Medieval 1 even have mods? I was way too young when these came out to really be into videogame modding.
